HOLMImpulse is an application for measuring frequency- and impulse-response in amplifiers and microphones. Developed by Holm Acoustics, this program is intended for audio professionals, although amateurs with prior knowledge about frequencies and sound impulses could benefit as well.
This application will help you perform the necessary tests and see the results of you microphones’ and amplifiers’ responses in a graphical form. Its goal is to measure the impulse-, phase-, and frequency-response, as well as the harmonic distortion (THD). You will be able to make bandwidth measurements without any phase errors whatsoever and to compare measurements, as these can be saved for future use. For a wider cross-platform use, the results can be imported and exported in open formats such as ZIP, WAV, FLAC, or TXT.
HOLMImpulse will do a test using low and high frequency sounds and will display the results in a graph. This way, you will be able to test different settings and parameters to obtain the best results in audio reproduction and when fine-tuning your microphones.
